Review of Subscribing to the Transcendet's Channel
There it is again, the 🪓 Great Axe of Injustice 🪓 cutting our happiness at the root. Unfortunately, this is another of those (not so rare) cases of a manga that I was really enjoying, only for it to be discontinued for no apparent reason.
And this was a special case because the manga ended quite abruptly. (Usually, they rush the ending just to at least complete an arc, like in Mightiest Melee Magician, where the finale was so rushed it felt like it was written by ChatGPT), but in this case, they didn't even bother. All we got was a tiny note from the author at the end of the chapter, which left several loose ends and unanswered questions.
In the manga's comment section, the readers' confusion was explicit; they wondered if it was truly canceled, if it was just a season finale, or if it was merely a thank-you note, but no one knew the answer at the time. In the end, what remains is the indignation and the feeling of emptiness that this abrupt ending brings us, and unfortunately, nothing can be done to change the situation.
Researching on Reddit, I saw that at least the webnovel is complete, so we will at least have the possibility of glimpsing the end of the story—which is still a bit sad, given that the art was of great quality, at least compared to the abominations that have been coming out recently.
