Review of The Supreme Almighty Master (Remake)
No matter how many remakes this shit gets, trash is still trash.
This story (if you can even call it a story) is just the adventure of an insufferable guy with a stolen power pretending to be a hero while building himself a harem.
It's that same old formula, like Urban Immortal Cultivator, where the ridiculously overpowered guy keeps picking fights with everyone just so he can humiliate them afterward and look like the big shot, except it's executed terribly here. The situations are forced, the characters are extremely shallow, his powers aren't even that impressive, and the story is nonexistent. It's just a collection of situations that try to connect with each other, poorly and with absolutely no depth. Sometimes it feels like an RPG: complete a side quest here, another one there, rush off to complete another one, and so on.
I've lost count of how many times these girls have been kidnapped, and how many times he has used other people's influence to get himself out of a situation.
It's simply horrible. You're better off reading the fucking I'm Just an Immortal, which is another horrendous work, but at least it has some direction, or at the very least, a clear goal of what the protagonist actually wants to accomplish. Honestly, this is one of the works where El Machadon was applied the most effectively.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS NUCLEAR WASTE
