Dragons
🌌 The Origin: The First Breath#
Before the division of Aether into mana, aura, qi, and spirit, there was only the Primordial Flow — an infinite current of existence and intention.
From this flow emerged the first conscious beings of the universe, and among them, the Primordial Dragons — entities that were not created, but manifested as functions of the Aether itself.

About the Draconic Lineages#
Primordial Dragons#
They do not possess “bodies” in the ordinary sense. Their bodies are concepts:
- Order
- Entropy
- Time
- Life
- Void
- Cycle
Each Primordial Dragon is a living law of the universe, and its function is to preserve universal balance. They are transcendental beings who intervene only during events of existential collapse. They do not “act” — they correct.
When:
- A realm threatens to collapse
- A force disrupts the balance of the Aether
- A being attempts to ascend beyond the limits of causality
...a Primordial may intervene — not as punishment, but as a reconfiguration of reality.
Ancestral Dragons#
When the universe began to materialize, fragments of primordial power condensed. Thus, the Ancestral Dragons were born — the first living beings of Obelion.
They are the bridge between pure Aether and physical life, the “parents” of countless lineages, natural guardians endowed with free will, and the creators of many civilizations.
Unlike the Primordials, they possess the ability to feel, evolve, and interact with the world. It was they who shaped ecosystems, created species (intentionally or otherwise), and taught primitive magic.
Elemental Dragons#
The so-called “Elemental Dragons” are Ancestral Dragons that have deeply fused with one aspect of the world.
What defines an Elemental?
It is not power… it is the very concept of their existence itself.
For example:
A fire dragon does not wield fire — it is the concept of combustion and transformation itself.
If a dragon loses its element → it enters existential collapse.
Corrupted Dragons#
As stated before, unlike the Primordial Dragons, the Ancestral Dragons possess physical bodies and free will, meaning they are capable of corruption. Because of this, not all dragons remain faithful to their origins.
When a dragon loses its “essential truth,” or its defining concept, it becomes a Corrupted Dragon.
Common causes include:
- Demonic influence
- Power instability (unstable Aether)
- Loss of purpose
- Mental fragmentation (after millennia of existence)
Types of corruption:
- Abyssal: linked to external entities
- Bestial: instinctive regression
- Rupture: body and essence fall into conflict
Dragonoids#
Not all dragons are born as dragons. Some creatures carry fragments of the “Draconic Code” within their DNA.
These are known as Dragonoids.
Examples:
- Ancient reptiles
- Serpents
- Carp
- Humans with diluted draconic bloodlines
🧬 Draconic Evolution System#
🔻 Bloodline Decay Rate
| Status | Power | |
|---|---|---|
100 % | True Dragon | Absolute |
50 % | Half-Dragon | High |
10 % | Remnant | Low |
< 1 % | Latent | Almost null / Null |
🔺 Ascension Conditions
To evolve:
- Massive Aether absorption
- Proof of dominance (rituals, combat, enlightenment)
- Alignment with a concept (element or ideal)
Each evolution is a choice:
- Elemental Path
- Spiritual Path
- Primordial Path (extremely rare)
⚖️ The Universal Law of Dragons#
“Every dragon is a manifestation of something greater.
The closer it is to the origin, the less freedom it possesses.
The freer it becomes, the farther it drifts from the truth.”
Primordials → absolute power, zero freedom
Dragonkinds → complete freedom, limited power
Ancestors → balance
