Synopsis

Currently, there are at least 39 Gitas, among which the famous Bhagavad Gita, the Ashtavakra Gita, and the Avadhoota Gita stand out, being quite popular in India and other parts of the world. All these Gitas are part of the sacred Hindu scriptures and were composed during the historical period of Vedic India.
